Supporting independence

Our highly trained staff treat each resident as an individual and work hard to understand how they can best support individual needs. We understand that independence is hugely important to younger veterans, so staff provide the practical and emotional support to enable younger residents to live their lives as they wish.

Care & in-house therapies

Wellbeing is at the heart of the care we offer. We work with each resident to assess their physical, social and emotional needs and plan appropriate care. The Homes are well-equipped to meet all physical requirements, such as Physiotherapy and Speech & Language Therapy, as well as facilitating technological support such as tablets for communication. Emotional wellbeing is also supported by our friendly, compassionate staff and by our dedicated Wellbeing Programme.

Friends & family

All residents need the company of friends and family. Visitors are always welcome and can share mealtimes and outings too. Our Homes actively promote good relationships with family members and work with them to constantly improve the care of their loved one.

Stimulating environment

We offer a wide range of activities, outings and exercise so that there’s something for everyone. Hobbies are supported and our Wellbeing Team works creatively to cater for all interests. The Home welcomes visits from friends of younger veterans to promote an active social life. Our young and older residents find a common bond through their military experiences and often make friends for life.
