A short break from the usual routine can be refreshing and provides the opportunity to make new friends in a different environment. Whether recuperating from illness or giving a carer a rest, our short-break care offers you peace of mind that your loved one will be comfortable, safe and well looked-after, 24 hours a day. We welcome anyone who has served in the UK Armed Forces, including Reservists and those who completed National Service.

We ensure that residents coming in for a short break feel comfortable and at home. Every aspect of the Home has been considered from the residents’ perspective to offer independence, dignity and choice. The environment is homely and informal, with spacious lounges for socialising and comfortable nooks to create more intimate spaces to chat or read. Spacious bed-sitting rooms are fully equipped to meet care needs.

Caring for a family member living with dementia can be challenging, and we understand the importance of taking a break. Arranging a short break in our Home will give you time to recharge, while knowing your loved one is being supported with award-winning care. To ensure we can meet care needs, our dementia short breaks are always subject to an assessment.
