Veterans living at The Royal Star & Garter Homes are joined by family, friends and supporters for this annual, special event.

The special festive service at St Matthew’s Church, Surbiton celebrates loved ones, past and present, through music and readings.

The Charity’s choir, The Star & Garter Singers, sing Christmas classics such as Ding Dong, Merrily on High and Moonlight Serenade.

As part of the service, guests are invited to hang star-shaped messages to loved ones on the Christmas tree. Afterwards, everyone gets together for mulled wine and mince pies.
