Reserve your place

Our interactive Living Well with Dementia Workshop is designed to support family members, carers, partners and community volunteers, who want to better understand dementia and learn practical ways to help veterans live well at every stage of
the condition.

What to expect

The workshop will provide clear, practical guidance on:

  • Understanding what dementia is and how it affects people differently
  • Supporting physical wellbeing through activity and movement
  • Keeping the brain stimulated through meaningful activities
  • Supporting people living with advanced dementia using sensory approaches
  • Helping people with dementia maintain independence, dignity, and purpose
  • Looking after yourself as a carer and knowing where to find support

The session will include real-life examples, practical tips, and time for discussion, making it relevant whether you are supporting someone at home, in the community, or in a care setting.

The session is led by one of our deputy home managers and a consultant in dementia.
