Care

Skilled nursing and care staff support residents to live life as they wish. Our nursing, therapeutic and dementia care is individually tailored, taking into account interests and abilities, to create a new and positive chapter in each resident’s life. Our staff are passionate and caring, meeting each resident’s physical, emotional and social needs with respect and compassion.

Homes

The award-winning Homes are comfortable and informal, with spacious lounges and libraries where residents can enjoy activities or find a cosy nook to read or chat with visitors. Residents can visit the hair salon or join friends in the café-bar for a drink. Each resident has a large, en-suite bed-sitting room for enjoying quiet time or a lie in.

It’s amazing here. The games and the music - it's brilliant… This is as near to home as I could possibly ask for.

The rooms are in immaculate condition and the residents feel like they are at home. In fact, sometimes when I come in the morning and I think there is no one around it is because some of them have decided to have breakfast in bed!

Activities & outings

There’s always fun and friendship to be had, with a choice of activities and outings seven days a week. These include visits from military organisations and schools, crafts, films, musical events, group exercise and therapies, quizzes, cookery, tastings and seasonal celebrations. Outings in our specially adapted coaches include trips to the theatre, local drives and shopping, and visits to garden centres, restaurants and pubs. Requests are welcome!

Dining

Our welcoming dining rooms offer a choice of freshly cooked, nutritious meals and the pleasure of sharing food in good company. Snacks and refreshments are available throughout the day in the café-bar – and there’s always cake!

Gardens

Our landscaped sensory gardens are wheelchair-accessible and offer colour, space and stimulation. Residents can take time out for a breath of fresh air, a snooze in the sun or the chance to ‘grow your own’ in the greenhouse.

Therapies & wellbeing

Our Wellbeing Programme offers meaningful activities, outings and exercise to support individuals in feeling engaged, valued and loved. Residents are offered individual and group physiotherapy sessions to enhance their strength and movement. Speech and Language therapies, dieticians and chiropody are also available.

We care for veterans of Her Majesty's Armed Forces, and their partners, who live with disability or dementia.
