Mr Leslie H Whanslaw
21 February 1923 - 3 May 2005
Les served in the Fleet Air Arm during WW2 servicing Swordfish aircraft and was stationed in India and Sri Lanka. He was the Deputy Chief Environmental Health Officer in Brighton retiring in 1985.
Following his retirement Les enjoyed many years of holidays experiencing different places and cultures with his beloved wife Pat. He also helped his children with decorating and his knowledge of DIY and gardening.
A loving husband, father and grandfather sorely missed but fondly remembered.
Now reunited with his beloved wife Pat. May they rest in peace together.
