Cynthia’s Story

Cynthia joined the RAF when she was just 19 and served for more than 35 years, rising to the ranks of Air Commodore. She has been living with dementia in one of our Homes since 2023. Compassion, empathy and love are at the heart of our award-winning dementia care.

Rex’s Story

When care at home is no longer possible, we take the time to understand all aspects of a resident’s needs. Army veteran, Rex, is cared for by a specialist nursing team at our High Wycombe Home. A keen gardener, Rex enjoys the outdoor spaces, allowing him to live a full and active life.

Michael’s Story

Michael was diagnosed with dementia and came to live with us in 2022. He is a keen artist and enjoys dementia friendly activities led by the Wellbeing teams, such as drawing and painting. Staff recognise that having a sense of purpose is vital to a person’s wellbeing and fully embrace this.
