What is Caring Together?

It takes both strength and resilience to face the range of challenges that caregiving can bring, but of course it is also a joyful and rewarding experience. However, we all need to ask for help from time to time and we want to be there for you, which is why we are creating our Caring Together community.

We gathered insights from relatives of our residents, many of whom were caregivers before their loved ones moved in with us. We used their experiences to identify crucial topics and information they wished they had known during their caregiving journey and in response, have put together 12 months’ worth of tips and support to assist you when caring for someone.

How does it work?

Each month, you will receive our tips by email, in a convenient format for easy saving and printing. Your first month’s welcome pack will be posted to you as a one-off and includes a Caring Together cardboard wallet for storing your tips cards, along with additional information on the upcoming 12 months, your first tip sheet, details of some useful organisations and a bookmark which is a simple gift from us to you.

We are a charity, providing loving care to veterans and their partners living with disability and dementia. To join our Caring Together community, we just ask for a small gift of £4.50 per month in exchange for our tips and support. This will help us to continue making a difference in the lives of the military family we care for.
