Training & Development

We offer a wide range of training and development to all staff and we ensure that training is specifically designed to underpin our dedication to the delivery of a quality service for our residents. Whether you work in our Hampton Administration Office or one of our Homes, we will ensure that you are fully supported throughout your employment with the Charity.

The Charity is working in partnership with Dementia Care Matters and continues to invest a significant part of its training budget to develop appropriate attitudes, skills, and greater insight when working with those residents living with Dementia. Staff are supported by a comprehensive induction programme lasting up to two weeks in length, a period of supernumerary during which our Care and Nursing staff are “buddied” with an experienced team member and then mandatory annual training updates are programmed annually in addition to other development opportunities throughout each year of employment.

We ensure that all of our Registered Nurses have opportunities to attend clinical updates in support of their professional Continued Professional Development (CPD) requirements.  All Health Care Assistants are required to as part of their employment to undertake at least QCF Level 2 (fully funded and supported) in Health and Social Care, and where appropriate QCF Level 3/5.

Equal Opportunities

The Charity is an equal opportunity employer with a diverse workforce. Our policy is to ensure that no job applicant or employee receives less favourable treatment because of race, colour or nationality, sex, sexual orientation, marital status, religion, disability or age.
